Principles of Scaffolding
Course Description:
This course focuses on the safety aspects of scaffolding and current OSHA requirements. This is a Blended Learning Course. Students must complete a web-based training portion of the course prior to attending the resident portion. The web-based portion of the course may require up to 10 hours seat time. The student is introduced to the basics of scaffolding operations from installation to dismantling. Topics include supported and suspended scaffolds, aerial lifts, and the interpretation of related standards. Installation and dismantling methods are demonstrated.
