Applied Spray Finishing and Coating Principles
Course Description:
This course focuses on the hazards associated with spray finishing and coating operations. Topics include an overview of 29 CFR 1910.107 and 29 CFR 1910.122-.126, a review of industrial processes and related equipment and materials. This is a Blended Learning Course. Students must complete a web-based training portion of the course prior to attending the resident portion. The web based portion may require up to 8 hours seat time. The course overviews technology of finishing and coating applications, liquid and powder spray operations, and dipping and coating operations. Applicable OSHA requirements, NFPA standards, engineering controls, and work practices are also covered. For further information, please contact the Director, Office of Safety and Health Training.
