Fall Arrest Systems
Course Description:
This course provides an overview of state-of-the-art technology for fall protection and current OSHA requirements. This is a Blended Learning Course. Students must complete a web-based training portion of the course prior to attending the resident portion. The web-based portion of the course may require up to 5 hours seat time. Topics covered include the principles of fall protection, the components of fall arrest systems, the limitations of fall arrest equipment, and OSHA policies regarding fall protection. Course features a field exercise demonstrating fall protection equipment. For further information, please contact the Director, Office of Construction Training.
