Emergency Preparedness Refresher Training
Course Description:
The course is designed to review concepts and policies related to OSHA's emergency response activities. This course is entirely web-based. Topics covered include a background review of national policies related to emergency response; the incident command system; OSHA policy, documents, and relationships with other agencies; and resources available during emergency response. The National Response Framework (NRF) and the NRF Worker Safety and Health Support Annex (WSHSA) are reviewed. It is recommended that students complete OTI 8200 (Incident Command Systems I-200) or equivalent; and OTI 3600 (OSHA Technical Response to Emergencies) or have equivalent experience, before registering for this course.
